Topics include the nature of matter, potential and kinetic energy, static electricity, DC current, multimeters, DC circuits, electrical safety, batteries, magnetism, DC motors and generators, AC power, and wiring line voltage circuits. The curriculum also incorporates workforce preparedness, utility concepts, and a field trip to a local generation facility. Practical activities such as cleaning breadboards and a Mars Rover project are also included. The schedule can be adapted to a three-day format, though school schedules may necessitate afternoon instruction shifts.
